The Fun Run, also known as “Stracittadina di Roma”, is the non-competitive 5 km event held in conjunction with the prestigious Acea Run Rome The Marathon. It’s much more than just a race: it’s a celebration of happiness, well-being, friendship, lots of music, and solidarity.

This event is designed for everyone: individuals, families, children of all ages (even in prams), and even your beloved pets. You can run or walk at your own pace, without any timing pressure or rankings, enjoying Rome’s historic streets in an unforgettable atmosphere.

2026 Event Details

• Date: Saturday, March 21, 2026
• Start Time: Expected around 10:30 AM
• Course: A 5 km loop starting and finishing inside the evocative Circus Maximus.
• The “Stracanina” (Dog Run): An exciting new feature since 2025: a race dedicated to dogs of all sizes and breeds, who will receive a bib and a surprise gift at the finish line. Bring your four-legged friend!

Registration & Race Pack Collection

After purchasing your bib here, you will receive a code via email. You will then need to finalize your registration on the official website www.runromethemarathon.com using the code received.

Bib and race pack collection will take place at the Expo Village.
